Carmella Jarvi

Carmella Jarvi is a full-time artist and entrepreneur whose work has been inspired by water for decades. This McColl Center for Art + Innovation and Hambidge Center alumna mainly explores water through glass, public art, and creative placemaking since 2014. Her studio practice involves capturing water through kiln glass and painting. Jarvi transforms spaces, and works with community around the theme of water. Water is universal, and this abstract approach to her studio glass, public art, and other creative work means there are a number of entry points for viewers.
