Indrani Nayar-Gall

Indrani Nayar-Gall’s works are global narratives of marginalization, patriarchy, and misogyny, presented in installation, 2-D, and film media, connected to social activism. A professional printmaker, Indrani unpacks traditional codes expressed through the parallel constraints of media, transcending the barriers they impose. Her work has been included in curated shows including the Perez Museum, Queens Museum, Asian Arts Initiative, Mint Museum, and Christie’s Midtown Manhattan. Her documentary Devadasi_NOW , completed in December 2016, has won awards and has been selected in several festivals including Delhi Int’l Film Festival, Chicago South Asian Film Festival, Move_Me Pictures, Belgium. been officially selected in Delhi Int’l Film
