Description
While at a summer residency at the McColl Center I was accidentally loaned a video camera instead of a digital still camera to shoot the water movement at various sights along the Upper Middle Saluda River. The use of the video camera inspired me to integrate video into my painting process. The images, as with this piece, were gleaned from two seconds of video. This painting group is now part of series called “Moving in Place”. This series recalls how the incessant down stream movement of a river is like the flow of life. How does that old saying go? “You can never step into the same rive twice”.
$3000 for all five canvas panels, while one canvas panel is $600.
